paying bills

It looks like we need a new compressor in the car. Because of the make and model our first estimate was $1100. The AC went out yesterday. And what was today...like 97 degrees? Whew. it was hot. So pretty much everyone was grouchy when we got home from church tonight. Church didnt do it...it was the heat.  The girls are wanting me to take them places in the next couple of days and I tell them we aren't going to be driving very far until the AC gets fixed and I dont know when that will be.  So we settle in for the evening, watching a little TV before we put the girls to bed....the screen goes black. A very exasperated Holly looks at her dad and says "What now? Didn't you pay this bill either?" The TV clicks right back on. So according to Holly we just didnt pay the car AC bill. Wish it were that simple.
